AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE
Aromatherapy massage is the systemic use of essential oils in massage.

Essential oils are extracted from flowers, fruits leaves and roots etc. each essential oil posses distinct therapeutic properties that help to promote health and prevent disease. They can also be applied in baths and inhalation.

CRYSTAL HEALING

EYELASH AND EYEBROW TREATMENTS
Colouring of eyelashes and shaping/colouring of eyebrows. Tinting is done to enhance fair eyelashes to darken them with permanent colour that is lost as the hairs fall out and renew. Shaping the eyebrows is done with either tweezers or wax to achieve a well groomed appearance.

HOPI EAR CANDLING

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Indian head massage also known as champissage, has been practiced in India for many thousands of years.

It assists in the release of built up tension in the neck and shoulders, by removing blockages to the energy centres, through firm but gentle rhythmic massage. The areas treated are the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and face. In addition oil may be applied to the hair for added benefit to the hairs condition.

INJURY REHABILITATION
As our founder has a background as a physiotherapist, injury rehabilitation is an obvious addition. Due to the very nature of most injuries we tend not to use the injured part but as a result we can often suffer from limited movement as a result in order to regain full use of an injured part it is important to continue gently with mobilising exercises for a full recovery or the best outcome depending on the injury itself. We therefore use active and passive exercises to maintain or restore the best use of the injured part. Heat and sound therapy is also used see section on nova sonic therapy.

MAKE-UP/COSMETICS PERMANENT AND SEMI-PERMANENT
Small amounts of natural pigment are implanted in the skin in the form of a tattoo, old methods used a regular tattoo machine with a coil this is rather a crude method with undesirable results. We use the latest type of microprocessor developed in Germany which implants exactly in the dermal layer of the skin with reduced tissue trauma, used in conjunction with a topical aesthetic and vasoconstrictor pain and bleeding are almost a thing of the past.

SWEDISH MASSAGE
Swedish massage is a deep, intensive and effective form of body massage which uses oil or talcum power as a massage medium to allow the hands to glide without friction.

A great stress reliever and promotes relaxation while it releases tension. This massage is good for speeding up the circulation, relieving tired muscles and eliminating toxins, it is also excellent for promoting the lymphatic circulation nourishing and cleansing the system.

TANNING AND SUNBEDS
Exposure of the skin to ultraviolet light, tanning equipment.

Used to provide a cosmetic effect, it provides a suntan under controlled conditions. It stimulates melanine production which is the brown pigment that actually protects you from harmful rays, there is a risk of rays penetrating to deeper layers if your melanine layer is dormant. Sun tanning equipment can be used to prepare the skin for further sun exposure prior to out of season foreign holidays. Can also be used to treat SAD 'seasonal adjustment disorder' care should be taken with those with fair skin or an abundance of moles and should never be over used as there are risks of skin cell changes.

WRAPPING
Wrapping is the application of a body wrap consisting of covering parts of the body to be treated with various substances e.g. muds, gels, sea clay which is then bandaged.

Can be used for detox, inch loss (temporary effect) but good if you've over indulged, also acne and skin conditions.

CHILDREN AND PIERCING
We offer ear piercing for children and have special fun based ways to deal with the very young, we play games and give a prize to make having their ears pierced a pleasant memory.

AGE POLICY
It is our policy NOT to pierce children without parental consent if they are or appear to be under 16 years of age and we only do consented body piercing with parental signature on those responsible enough to take care of their piercing and properly follow aftercare instructions. We don't knowingly pierce even with consent anyone under 12 yrs except for ear piercing.
